Education
Jacqueline holds a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia in 2019 and Bachelors degree from Savannah State University in 2017. For over five years, She has worked with individuals healing from trauma. She specializes in helping people to adjust to life's changes such as new and expecting parents, divorce and survivors of human trafficking.
Certifications
Jacqueline is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, she is licensed to practice psychotherapy in Georgia and Maryland and has trained vigorously over the years in trauma counseling. Her work is grounded in compassion and empathy. Jacqueline is certified in Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Experience
With over a decade of experience in trauma recovery and resilience-building, Jacqueline has worked with diverse populations facing complex mental health challenges. Her experience expands in both the field and in therapeutic practice. She has successfully worked hands on with those who have survived human trafficking, abused members of the LGBTQIA+ community and veterans whom are reintegrating back to their communities.

Jacqueline utilizes a client-centered and trauma-focused approach, integrating evidence-based modalities to tailor therapy to each client's unique needs and goals. The approach is rooted in belief that healing happens when we feel safe enough to explore our stories with honesty and compassion. The goal is to create a space for peace, growth and lasting change, each journey is different, the aim is to build resilience and renewed hope and not to put a bandaid over what is important for healing.
